I’m not really sure what you’re asking. Is this an issue wit Pixgallery? It looks more like an issue with moving your site and use of an .htaccess file. Can you be a bit more clear on the issue, maybe a few more details and what problem you are having?

I have in my localhost installation a .htaccess file is present.in side this file there are some times that old base directory appearsQe need to change this???

Unfortunately I didn’t write the lightbox for the plugin, so I’m not really able to make many changes to it (I’m not a good javascript programmer). Also, 3rd party lightbox effects can’t get the caption data (unless their developer wants to work with me to do so–but none have contacted me)

There’s no way to do it from the interface. You could hack the actual plugin file. You could also maybe add a custom name that’s simply a blank space.

Is it possible to turn off the image filename?
I got it to NOT display on the homepage, but when you click on an image it still shows below the large image. Can that be removed/hidden?

Got it to work. Made some changes to the Recent Comment plugin code to lookup for itempath in awsompxgcommenttracking table. Not an ingenious way, but works anyway.

I have Recent Comments plugin installed. But it will link the comment to the AWSOM Pixgallery page instead of the individual image page where the comment was posted. I am not a programmer, I was looking into both the gallery and recent comment codes and cracking my head. To no avail… Anyway to get around this?

Hi, I’m not totally sure what you are asking. Do you mean is it possible to selectively display only certain thumbnails in the thumbnail page view (I guess in other words only show 5 out of 10 thumbnails, but still allow the user to move through the image view of the gallery and see all of the images). If that’s what you are asking, and by front page you mean add the gallery to a post (as opposed to a static page). Then yes, there is a way of doing this. What you need to do is go to the Pixgallery options/settings page and alter the setting “Do you want to limit the number of Thumbnails displayed on the index page for a gallery (set to 0 to disable this feature)?” and input the maximum number of thumbnails you want the gallery to display. If you set this to 5 it will only show 5 and once the user clicks the “view entire gallery” link they will go to the dedicated gallery and see the whole thing.

Is there any way to stop any of the thumbnails from showing on the main page?
