AWSOM Pixgallery updated to 4.5.10

The AWSOM Pixgallery WordPress plugin has been updated to version 4.5.10 to fix a few minor bugs dealing with the Visual Editor function as well as some pathing issues with the CSS and JS files. Nothing major but still a good idea to upgrade to stay current. You can now use the WordPress automatic upgrade function to update the plugin, so this makes it even easier.

  1. the link to the image is broken if I change the permalink, do you have any idea how to fix it?

    • Nevermind, found it..
Just found “Absolute Linking Path support” and enabled it..

      Great plug-ins, thanks :)

  2. I use the “make thumbnails squared” option. In firefox is works. In IE6 also, in IE8 it doesn’t and in IE7 the thumbnails are squared but very small.
    Any ideas?

  3. The usual reason this occurs is a CSS conflict. In most cases there is an element in your theme that adds CSS to images, and that plus the built in stuff for Pixgallery are fighting and causing the weird behavior. IE in all versions can add CSS from various sources in a jumble like this. If you open your theme’s .css file and look around you’ll probably find an entry affecting img files in your “content” area, I bet that is the culprit.

One other possibility is to simply deactivate the pixgallery.css as a test by renaming this file in the plugin folder to pixgallery.css.bak and see if the issues change or go away.
