AWSOM News Announcement updated to 1.3.2
November 6th, 2007 by harknellThe AWSOM News Announcement plugin for Wordpress has been updated to version 1.3.2 and is now available for download from it’s product page. This new version of the plugin is a minor release that has been revised to allow for full XHTML compliance.

My host (Bluehost) is rapidly switching all their servers to PHP 5 and eliminating support for PHP 4 entirely without notification. Luckily I haven’t been switched yet.
Is this compatible with PHP 5? I’m just trying to eliminate any problems before the switch.
Great plugin BTW.

I test the plugins on both php 4.4.x and 5.x and so far they have shown no problems–so you should be fine.

I started using this plugin on my main page for the welcom instead of a sticky post. Works much better.
I was wondering if this same plugin could be tweaked to show a similar message on various pages. For instance, showing different news announcements for specific categories. That could certainly be useful.
